For over 50 years, Cabarrus College of Health and Sciences has been training students for nursing and other careers in the healthcare industry. The scenic Concord campus in North Carolina is a commuter school that has small class sizes and dedicated teachers. It prepares students for a future in health science professions such as allied health and nursing. College life offers students a variety of extracurricular activities outside of the classroom such as community service opportunities, and professional clubs and organizations. Diploma programs, as well as associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs, are offered at the college in fields like: * Health Services Leadership and Management * Life Sciences * Medical Assistant * Medical Imaging * Nursing * Occupational Therapy Assistant * Pre-Pharmacy * Pre-Surgical Technology Continuing education courses and online classes through the distance education program are available. Hybrid courses are also an option, combining on-campus and online learning. Some of the full-time programs at the college can be completed in less than a year. Requirements for admissions include: an enrollment application and non-refundable fee, a personal essay, recommendation letters, standardized test scores (ACT/SAT), and official transcripts. Tuition fees can be supplemented with financial aid, and numerous federal, institutional, private, and state sources are provided to those who meet the criteria.
