We invite experienced APPs to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Work & Campus Care Solutions Team at the City of Kannapolis in Kannapolis, NC.

Atrium Health is the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas and operates one of the most successful Urgent Care and On-Site Care networks in the Southeast.?

Position Highlights:?

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm

Additional staff includes one (1) CMA / RMA

Population served: All full-time City of Kannapolis employees, all spouses & dependents, insured with City of Kannapolis

Practice sees traditional acute episodic care and full primary care

Practice also performs workers’ comp & occupational medicine services, supported by a board certified Occupational Medicine physician.

Call responsibility but no in-person shifts overnights, weekends or major holidays

Typical Qualifications

Ideal Candidates:

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience required in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care. Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required.

NC Licensure and DEA

DOT certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of start date

American Heart Association BLS

Must be able to work autonomously
