Job Summary:
To coach associates to meet quality, cost, delivery, morale, and safety (QCDMS) targets in compliance
with the quality policy as it relates to logistics.
Major Responsibilities:
Coordinate work schedules in the shipping/receiving area to meet required deadlines.
Responsible for training new associates.
Responsible for maintaining proper distribution of all related paperwork.
Establish and maintain operator instructions.
Effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
Know and understand policies and procedures and be able to administer them fairly and consistently.
Investigate problems/processes; Notify affected departments and implement appropriate action as
needed.
Maintain subordinates documentation on time sheets, attendance, corrective action, etc.
Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of raw material, component, and finished goods
inventories.
Maintain 5’s standards.
Implement Kaizens when applicable.
Responsible for supporting and implementing management initiatives.
Review, correction and approval of associate timecards within respective areas.
Know, understand and comply with policies and procedures and be able to administer them fairly and
consistently.
Assists with the management style in a manner that promotes ownership by all associates. Acts as key
member of Employee Involvement with promotion of good morale, pride and ethics.
Minor Responsibilities:
Directly supervises departmental line keepers and associates.
Requires effective communication and involvement with internal associates/departments and related
outside resources.
Responsible for investigation of problems/processes in the specific area and implementing
recommended countermeasure.
May require some travel.
Responsible teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF 16949, ISO9001,
ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.
May require shift work & overtime to support area of responsibility as needed.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent (must fulfill NC State or Federal educational
requirements).
Requires previous manufacturing experience in logistics; supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to write as demonstrated through the completion of the employment application.
Key Competencies:
Must have strong working knowledge of PC and integrated computer based applications.
Must be able to operate a variation of material handling equipment.
Must be able to communicate effectively with outside resources and all levels of internal resources.
Must have investigative, troubleshooting and analytical skills in order to evaluate problems/processes
and take necessary action in support of subordinates.

Physical Requirements:
Requires constant standing and moving 8-12 hours per day
Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.
Must be able to apply up to 66lbs push/pull force unassisted.
Must be able to reach overhead.
May involve working in extreme temperature conditions.
Annual Salary: $61,500-$76,900
