Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at The Driveshaft Shop. In this role, you will be instrumental in the manufacture of precision components that meet the rigorous demands of the racing industry. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing superior performance products.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate conventional and multi-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality automotive components.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
Utilize G-Code, Mazatrol and Mastercam to program machine operations.
Conduct regular in process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gages to maintain DSS quality standards.
Collaborate with supervisor and manufacturing team to improve processes and productivity.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work area with good housekeeping standards.

Requirements

5+ years proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced in aluminum and steel manufacturing to +/- .0005 tolerance
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, memos, and procedure manuals
Proficient with CAM software and G-Code.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Mastercam experience a plus.
Familiarity with GD&T principles is a plus.
Lathe experience a plus.
