About Us

The Driveshaft Shop is a manufacturer of high-performance OEM and custom axles and driveshafts. We deliver high-quality products to customers nationwide and seek team members who take pride in accuracy, quality, and teamwork.

We will train the right candidate, provided you can demonstrate a mechanical aptitude

Position Summary

As an Axle Assembly Technician, you will build and rebuild axle assemblies and sub-assemblies in a production environment following work orders and engineering specs.

Responsibilities

Assemble outer/inner axle components and CV assemblies
Measure and verify tolerances using hand tools and gauges
Prep components for finishing (powder coat, Cerakote)
Disassemble for inspection/repair work
Maintain cleanliness/5S at work station
Follow safety policies and wear required PPE

Required Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16” and follow written instructions
Basic math skills (add/subtract/count)
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

Prior manufacturing or automotive assembly experience
Familiarity with calipers, dial indicators, gauges, or welding/hand tools

Work Environment

Factory setting with moderate noise and temperature variation; PPE required.
