Position Summary
Responsible for the implementation, refinement, and sustainability of an Omnichannel shopping experience that meets customer’s needs. Supports cross functional projects and departments in the spirit of delivering synergies, continuous improvement, and executional excellence. Leads continuous improvement by creating change around new procedures and processes that drives the Omnichannel and Technology strategy resulting in a significant impact to the company’s sales, profits, and growth. Creates and designs project plans, and other pre-project work in support of assigned project initiatives. Operates in a high growth space with a rapidly changing landscape that will requires constant adaptation, learning and refinement of Food Lion To Go processes to better serve our customers.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Concurrently manage multiple projects priorities and initiatives. Create and design project plans, and other pre-project work in support of an assigned project initiative and hold project members accountable for assigned deliverables
- Responsible for writing User Acceptance test plans aiding in the testing (UAT) of all new Food Lion To Go processes
- Test, monitor performance, document financial impact, and drive final implementation of Food Lion To Go
- Ensure labor model integrity exists throughout all productivity standards and that changes to Food Lion To Go are appropriately tied to labor expectations
- Lead continuous improvement by creating change around new procedures and processes that drive our strategy resulting in a significant impact to the company’s sales, profits and growth
- Collaborate with Retail Capital Projects/Engineering teams to ensure the standardization of the Omnichannel & Technology processes to utilize new equipment and technology which will enable retail associates to maximize productivity while achieving our customer service standard
- Advocate and role model on all aspects of the Food Lion Strategy ensuring an effective, cascading two-way communication process between retail and all business partners by promoting and building positive relationships by role modeling cultural behaviors
- Coordinate an effective feedback loop between retail and all business partners on the effectiveness of Omnichannel and Technology initiatives and programs
- Facilitate collaboration with retail while leading and/or supporting other cross functional projects and departments in the spirit of delivering efficiencies, continuous improvement and executional excellence.
- Compare current and potential processes across all banners and companies for additional efficiencies and improvements
Basic Qualification
- Strong analytical and presentation skills are required.
- Must have proven ability to effectively communicate with associates and management at all levels within both retail and corporate environments.
- Strong planning & organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple cross functional relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to effectively identify barriers, develop solutions and drive change are required
- Results orientation with demonstrated accountability for self and others
Preferred Qualification
- Demonstrates expert level knowledge of standard practices and commitment to standard practice execution in all departments
- Successful track record as a retail leader, with the ability to influence leaders across the organization

- Flexibility to travel occasionally including overnights and weekends as necessary
Physical
- Performs bending and reaching to both ground level and overhead;
- Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls up to 25 pounds;
- Must be able to review plans, on-site layouts, construction progress, etc.;
- Must possess ability to utilize computer keyboard and/or mouse.
Travel
- 5% to 15% to retail locations, meeting locations, other ADUSA brand locations, vendor partner locations, seminar and conference locations.
