Position | Game Day Administrator | Division: | Athletics | Department: | Athletics | Reports to: | Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Operations | | Position Summary | Representing the Athletics Department and college during home competition. Game Day Administrator is responsible for ensuring that events are conducted in a professional, safe, and compliant manner. | | Essential Duties & Responsibilities The results you will deliver each day that matter most! | - Ensuring the event operates in accordance with NCAA and conference regulations.
- Monitoring event operations and addressing issues that arise
- Serving as the primary contact for officials, visiting teams and event staff.
- Supporting game operations personal
- Game Management staff are present
- Event Operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Facilities are properly prepared for competition
- Appropriate staffing is present for ticketing, security and event operations
- Game Day Administrator are responsible for helping ensure a safe and respectful environment (monitor spectators, addressing unsportsmanlike behavior, coordinate with campus safety or event security when issues arise)
- Welcome visiting teams and game officials
- Assist with any concerns that arise during the event
- Ensure officials have necessary game information and support
- Proper incident reporting to (Asst. Athletic Director for Internal Operations or Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Operations
- Other Duties as assigned

- Sport Management
- Finance / Accounting
- Public Administration
Master’s degree - Sport Administration (MASM)
- Business Administration (MBA)
- Higher Education Leadership
Experience - 3–5+ years in college athletics operations
- Event or game-day operations
