The position serves as a central point of coordination for divisional activities, ensuring the efficient execution of priorities and the effective delivery of services across all departments and programs. | | Essential Duties & Responsibilities The results you will deliver each day that matter most! | Coordinates division-wide operations, administrative processes, and special projects to ensure the efficient execution of departmental priorities and strategic initiatives. Manages the administrative operations of the Division, including calendars, meetings, travel, correspondence, purchasing, records management, budget documentation, and other operational activities. Develops and maintains administrative systems, workflows, and organizational processes that improve efficiency, communication, and operational effectiveness across the Division. Coordinates divisional meetings, programs, events, and special initiatives by managing logistics, communications, materials, and follow-up activities. Serves as the primary administrative liaison for the Division by coordinating communications and cultivating collaborative relationships across the College and with external partners. Prepares reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting agendas, minutes, and other administrative documents that support divisional operations and executive decision-making. Maintains confidential records and information while exercising sound professional judgment, discretion, and adherence to institutional policies. Represents the Division of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships through institutional initiatives and performs other duties that advance the mission and strategic priorities of Livingstone College. | | Education/ Experience What you will need to be successful! | Bachelor’s degree in business administration, higher education administration, public administration, communications, or a related field preferred. Three to five years of progressively responsible experience providing executive-level administrative, operational, or project coordination support. Required experience: Candidates must demonstrate a history of: Coordinating complex administrative operations, projects, or special initiatives. Managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Preparing professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and other executive-level communications. Exercising independent judgment, discretion, and sound decision-making while handling confidential and sensitive information. Required other: Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as required to support divisional programs, events, and institutional initiatives.
