Location: Salisbury, North CarolinaJob Type: Full-timeMiller Davis, Inc. is searching for a talented, confident, results-focused and creative videographer/editor who can plan, film and edit a wide variety of video content according to client briefs. In a small agency, each day will be a little different which allows the ideal candidate to continual grow and develop, relying on their creative skills and great organization. This role will report directly to Director of Digital Services.Miller Davis, Inc. is a unified team delivering personalized, impactful, and cutting-edge solutions that expand our clients’ businesses. We do this in what we call the “MD way” which means we give each client personalized attention making them feel important, valued, and cared for. We treat our team members in the same way.Key Activities, Tasks and Responsibilities of our Videographer/Editor- Meet with clients to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be shot and created.- Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s direction & creation.- Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to internal team members and to the client and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video.- Film videos on set or on location.- Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client.- Direct other camera operators/grips so that the needed footage is acquired.- Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.- Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects.- Edit video to include graphics, preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client’s specifications.- Finalize project and deliver to client.Professional Skills & Qualifications Required- Be results-focused, strategic, focused and detail-oriented, while creative, expressive, cooperative and team-focused.- Has an associates or bachelor’s degree in Film Editing or other related major.- Has 3+ years’ experience in videography and editing in a service organization.- Is proficient creating concept boards and other visual representations for video projects.- Is proficient in Adobe Premier editing software.- Is proficient inserting sound effects, music and transitions.- Is proficient with camera, audio and lighting equipment.- Is organized, methodical and detail-focused.- Is a critical thinker and able to solve problems in real time.- Is an exceptional oral and written English communicator.- Can work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Benefit Conditions (Waiting period may apply)Only full-time employees eligibleSalary: Commensurate with experience.Benefits:- 401(k) Simple- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Health savings account- Paid time off- Professional development assistanceSchedule:- 8-hour shift- Monday to FridayWork Location: In personPlease submit your resume to work@millerdavisagency.com.
