Powerhouse Recycling Inc. is a certified electronics recycling, secure data destruction, and IT asset management company located in Salisbury, North Carolina. PHR holds high levels of customer service at the core of all operations, including our primary focus to generate truly customized solutions back to our suppliers and clientele. PHR, founded in 2008, has over a decade and a half of experience working with big box retailers, manufacturers, government agencies, financial institutions, data centers, and the education space, creating dependable, efficient, and cost-effective programs for their electronics recycling programs. Many value-added service offerings help our clients consolidate services and vendors as well as lower their program service costs. PHR earned and holds the Responsible Recycling (R2), e-Stewards, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications along with the N.A.I.D membership, N.A.I.D AAA pending. PHR has a nationwide outreach, as well as parts of Canada, South America, and the Caribbean. PHR has two recycling campuses, both located in North Carolina, and we are equipped with large-scale shredding and separation systems, high levels of security systems and protocols, our own fleet of semi trucks, box trucks, and cargo vans, as well as DOD/NIST compliant wiping hardware/software. Our campuses have large-scale capacity with a quarter million square feet, DOD gated perimeters, efficient docks, and over 200 skilled employees to manage recycling programs of all sizes. PHR’s management team are industry veterans who have created a one-stop service offering to handle both certified recycling and product destruction for products and contract requirements, as well as an IT asset management side of our business for products and contracts that want to maximize secondary market value on internal IT equipment refreshes, overstock, and consumer returns.
